U of U and Baseball

In the middle of August Logan came down with a horrible case of Hand, Foot and Mouth disease.  We took him to the doctor because his legs were so bad.  The doctor said it was one of the worst cases she had seen and she was concerned that there might have been an underlying infection going on.  It was horrible!  She also said that it is highly contagious, and to count on the other two kids getting it within the next few days, and that kids are contagious for at least a week after the sores break out.  So we were on complete quarantine for about a week and a half.  Nathan and Katelyn did both get a very mild form of it and it did take Logan a good week to start looking better.

Near the end of it Michael started his Fall semester at the U of U and needed to go buy books.  We decided that it would be safe to take the kids on campus since adults aren't as susceptible to catching it and we all needed fresh air.

We had to keep Logan in his footy jammies for the whole week because he kept picking at his sores.

Future Utes!

Logan finally healed up most of the way after about a week and a half so we went to the park.  The kids loved playing baseball and school had started so we also had the playground all to ourselves!

I love how she's holding her one leg off the grass!

He was getting very serious about his batting practice!

She loves trying to be a big girl!!
