From Colorado we drove up to Idaho to stay two nights with my sister. My mom came with me! We went to Yellowstone one of the days. This was a bucket list trip for me! It was amazing!!
Fountain Paint Pots hot spring! The first one we saw up close! I was so amazed with how deep and clear the water was!
This lone bison was just wondering down the road! Luckily he was going the other way and holding up the other sides traffic! The kids were so excited to see it so close to our car! Nathan fell in love with the bison while we were there! He brought home a little stuffed animal bison as a souvenir and still loves it!
Old Faithful behind us!
Nathan was so cute while watching Old Faithful erupt!! He started clapping and told me "Thank you so much for bringing us to see this amazing thing!!" As much as I loved seeing Old Faithful I loved seeing his reaction even more!! It was an amazing sight!
Grand Prismatic hot spring-This is the one that Logan was waiting to see all day! I had showed them some pictures before we went to help them get excited and know what we were going to be doing. Every hot spring we saw Logan would tell us it wasn't the one he wanted to see! He was very excited to tell us this was the one he'd been waiting for!
More bison! It was such a great day trip! I could have stayed and hiked around even more!
And of course, we loved getting to hang out with baby cousin Clara. The kids loved reading to her and playing with her!
From Idaho we went home. The kids did such a good job in the car and they were in the car A LOT! They were so excited to get home and see their dad again! We missed him while we were gone and will probably never leave him again! Haha!
