7 Months with Logan!

I can't get over his cute little face and bald head!  He is starting to grow hair and it's kind of bumming me out! Ha!  This month Logan has started moving a lot, just not forward!  He is really good at scooting backwards and in circles.  He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks and tries really, really hard to go forward!  He gets so excited that he'll lay back down and kick his legs really hard and reach his arms out, he just can't quite get himself forward.  I call that his Superman move, or his swimmer.  When he's trying really hard to get a toy but ends up going backwards he gets so frustrated when he realizes he's further away!  It's really cute to watch him turn himself around in circles!  Logan also really likes standing up while we hold his hands.  He gets excited and bounces his knees.

Logan weighs 18.6 pounds, according to our home scale, and I couldn't find the tape measure so I don't know if he's grown in inches.  Logan now rolls both ways and will sometimes use rolling to get where he wants to go.  He says, "Dada" and makes other babbling sounds.  He can be quite chatty.  Nathan thinks it's really funny when Logan's talking.  Sometimes he gets in his face and tells him, "Say dada! Say mama! Say Nathan!"  It's adorable and they both end up laughing!

I made the tough decision to wean Logan within the last few weeks.  He was doing great going back and forth between bottles and breastfeeding, but it was necessary to wean him and he's still doing great.  He's started trying to hold his own bottle and will twist it in his hands when he does.  He is also eating baby food still.  He likes apples, pears,  bananas, squash, carrots, and sweet peas.  He also likes rice cereal, but doesn't like oatmeal very much.

Logan loves playing with toys.  He especially loves his brother's cars and trains!  He reaches for everything and tries to grab phones, remote controls, cups, etc.  then he gets frustrated when we don't let him have them!  He is generally a very happy, smiley, pleasant little boy!  He is sleeps 4-5 hour stretches and usually wakes up once or twice.  He naps twice a day for about an hour and a half to two hours.  He LOVES his dad more then anyone!  Whenever he hears Michael's voice he'll whip his head around so he can look at him and he gives him the biggest smiles, or he kicks his legs excitedly.  He also thinks Nathan is so funny!
