One thing the kids always look forward to on their birthday is a card and some birthday money from Grandma and Grandpa! They love going on special dates with just Mom or Dad and getting to choose something from the store!
These two are just the cutest little Irish Twins. They drive each other crazy and love each other so much! They are currently sharing a room because their sleep schedules are more similar and it's fun to hear them playing in their room before going to bed. I love the space between their birthdays when they're both the same age for 23 days!
Nathan didn't want to be left out!
Logan has been soooooo excited for his birthday! His birthday was on a Wednesday this year, but on Tuesday he woke up thinking it was his birthday. He was so disappointed and sad that we hadn't decorated for him. We took him to the store so he could choose his own birthday balloons to help him feel better. He loved his Happy DIno Birthday balloon!
He woke up quite happy on his actual birthday and we made sure to decorate extra to make up for his sadness from the day before!
After lunch Logan and I went on a special date to Panera Bread and Target.
He chose chocolate milk and a pumpkin cookie
He wanted aaaalll the LEGO's at the store but finally whittled it down to this dragon Ninjago set and he got some Hot Wheels car for himself, Katelyn and Nathan.
He also got this Spiderman shirt!
Logan has been so in love with dinosaurs this year! He was so excited to get this Dinosaur sticker book from his Auntie! He sat and read through each of the dinosaurs and told us all kinds of facts he's learned from watching Dino Dana! Haha!
Hearing Logan say "Quatzalcoatlus" over and over with his adorable little lisp is just the best! I had never even heard of that dinosaur before and did have to Google it!
Logan is such a fun kid!! He has been so excited to start school and is really cruising along! He's reading 3 letter words and is reading beginner phonics books. It's so fun to sit and do school with him. He tells me stories about his letters when he's writing his name, like how the "g" is swimming in the water and the "L' hooks onto it. It's so cute! But sometimes I have to stop his stories and pictures so that I can have a clean sample to turn into the school! Haha! Logan loves playing with his siblings! He loves dinosaurs and Spiderman more then anything else right now! He wants to be a fireman when he grows up. He very sweetly tells us that if our house is ever on fire we can call him and he'll bring his team over to put the fire out for us! He loves running and racing like the Flash. He also loves babies. He gets so excited whenever he sees one while we're walking or at the store. He loves his little baby cousins and he is so excited to meet his baby brother! He has such a genuine, funny personality and sense of humor. He is always coming up with clever, witty things to say to make us laugh. We love our little Loki so much!!
Throw back to 3 years ago when Logan kept singing "happy birthday" to himself on his birthday! He's always loved his birthday!!
