7 Months!

7 Months! According to my scale and tape measure at home, which I'm sure is not entirely accurate, my guy is weighing in at 18.8 pounds and is 27 inches.  Nathan's cousin, Cohen, was enjoying covering him with grass.  Nathan didn't seem to mind.
Last month was a good one for milestones! Nathan started scooting, followed immediately by crawling, followed immediately by pulling up on things to stand.  All the while getting into EVERYTHING and trying to eat EVERYTHING.  He now says "Momma" and "Dada" all the time, which is adorable!  He'll crawl up and down the hallway and tries to follow us or find us when we leave the room.  He loves feeding himself Cheerio's, avocado's, banana's and pears.  He'll eat pretty much anything we give him.  He doesn't like peaches or green beans very much but will still eat them.  He still wakes up a lot at night and wants to eat and snuggle or play.  He has sat himself up a few times but doesn't do that regularly yet.  One of my favorite things that Nathan does is planks and downward facing dog yoga poses.  Another funny thing that happened this last month was when Nathan had been very active and playful and was crawling around.  At one point he lost his balance and fell on his back.  He seemed embarrassed by this and just laid there really still with a blank expression for a little while.  Poor kid.  It was so cute though!

Nathan loves chords, remotes, laptops, phones, shoe laces, tags, hoodie drawstrings, hair, pillows, curtains, etc., pretty much anything that is not a toy.  Although he does love playing with his toys too.  He is so playful and happy most of the time.  He talks, laughs, squeals, and blows raspberries all the time.  He loves taking baths, especially bubble baths.  Nathan loves music.  When we're in the car he'll sing along with the radio sometimes.  If he gets fussy in his car seat we'll put on the song, "Hero" by Family of the Year and he immediately stops fussing.  He also really likes the song, "Dirty Paws" by Of Monsters and Men.  When he hears Michael playing guitar in the other room he'll stop what he's doing and go to find him.
