Logan's Blessing Day

On November 1st Logan was held in a circle by his dad, uncles, grandfathers, and the bishop and given a name and a blessing.  Because of the health concerns we have had for Logan the bishop gave us special permission to hold the blessing in our home.  It was a very intimate gathering with just our families.  The spirit was very strong and felt more concentrated then in a chapel.

The name Logan was suggested by Michael and we both liked it.  Logan means "little hollow" in Scottish Gaelic.  Logan's middle name, James, is a family name.  He is named after my grandfather.
We feel so blessed to have had these men stand in the circle with Michael to bless little Logan.  Right to left we have: Uncle Gared, Uncle Tyler, Grandpa Faria, Logan, Michael, Grandpa Shaver, Cousin Richard, and Uncle Dee
