Nathan's Third Birthday

He didn't do it on purpose, he was just being wiggly, but it looks like he's copying his Moana balloon! Haha!  Nathan was so excited for his three year old birthday to come!  We had decorated the house for his dad's birthday at the beginning of the month.  The day before his birthday he asked me, "Mom, is dad's birthday going to turn into my birthday?!"  And as we were making cupcakes he said, "now can we turn off all the lights and everyone can sing happy birthday to me?!"  And when I told him about his birthday party he kept saying, "Mom, EVERYONE is coming to my birthday!! Tyler, Jessica, Emily, Gared . . ."  He was the cutest little excited birthday boy!
For Nathan's birthday morning we had a birthday party with a few of Nathan's friends-Ivy, Abrahm and Cohen.  Being the awesome mom that I am I didn't even plan any kind of party activities (insert eye roll emoji!).  But it worked out anyway!  The kids loved playing with Nathan's toys and his new birthday presents!  Then we had cake.  Nathan told me that he wanted a Harold and Rosie cake-from Thomas the Tank Engine.  Somehow I was able to pull it off-with a lot of help from Pinterest and Jessica!
Katelyn and Mason are about two months apart and the cutest little cousins!

After Nathan's friend party his dad took him to lunch.  They went to Wendy's and Nathan LOVED it! He told me "Dad took me to a real restaurant!"  Then we had Nathan's aunts and uncles over for dinner and more cake!  He had a great, fun-filled day!
Nathan's Meemaw and Papa sent him some birthday money this year.  He was so excited to go to the store and pick something out.  We went to the toy store and I pointed out a few things, but he kept telling me he didn't want to pick that.  We ended up going to Target and he found some Moana toys.  He was so excited!  He kept acting out the movie with Moana and Maui.  It's so cute!!  Then he would take Maui's fish hook and act out the beginning of the movie.
This posted out of order.  These were from the beginning of the day.  Nathan was excited to see his cake and his balloons.  We tried to find Thomas balloons for his Thomas themed birthday but all we could find was Moana.  He loved it!!

I love looking at side-by-side comparisons to see how my babies change over the year!
