Goodbye Texas!

The month of May flew right by! We were so busy with packing, cleaning and moving that it all seems to be one big blur.

My mom and dad, and Michael's sister, Emily, came out to Texas to help us with our big move.  We could not have done it without them!!  My mom and dad drove our moving truck for us and helped us thoroughly clean the apartment. Emily helped Michael pack up the moving truck, took care of Nathan for us while we cleaned and packed, and then drove our car with Michael (which allowed me to fly with Nathan).  Before they all came out it had been quite stressful trying to get things done especially since Nathan decided to earn the nickname Fussy Gussy!  I'm so grateful for each of them and all of the help they gave us!

We will miss Rudy's barbecue!

Nathan has become more aware of things lately.  One of the first things he seemed to notice were the monkey's on his bouncy chair.  He really seemed to like the monkey on the left, but wanted to fight the monkey on the right.  ;)  This doesn't really have to do with moving, but I took those pictures during the week that my mom, dad and Emily were here.

We are going to miss Texas and all of the friends we made there, but we're also excited to be moving on to the next phase in our life and to be living closer to family again.
