Nathan's Blessing Day

On June 1st Nathan Anthony was held in a circle by his dad, uncles and grandpa's and was given a name and a blessing by Michael.  In Hebrew Nathan means "gift from God".  When I was pregnant with Nathan, but before we knew he was a boy we were going through different names and trying to find one we liked.  One day Michael threw out the name Nathan.  I looked it up and saw the meaning and knew that this was going to be our babies name.  After everything we went through with trying to get pregnant and then our miscarriage from earlier that year I felt that this baby truly was our gift from God.  He has proven this time and time again in the last couple of months.

Nathan's middle name, Anthony, is a family name that has been passed down to the first born son for several generations on Michael's side of the family.
