Fun at Meemaw and Papa's

Nathan loved riding in Papa's pick up truck to go to the duck pond.
Top row: My dad is so clever and crafty!  He had an old bike trailer frame that he added a few pieces of wood, some Styrofoam and a buckle to to make a bike trailer for Nathan to ride in.  Nathan loved it!  He also made him a little swimming pool out of a tarp and some wooden planks.  Nathan mostly liked spraying him with the hose, but didn't like it as much when the hose also hit him.  Another thing Nathan loved was "helping" papa in his office while he worked.  He especially like rearranging things like his stapler and calculator and talking on the phone.

Bottom row:  Another of Nathan in the bike trailer, going on a bike ride with Papa.  The little picture is Nathan trying to give the cat something.  He seemed to really like the cat and would try and share toys and his drinks.  He'd hold out his cup and say "mmmm".  Haha!  The cat seemed to like him too.  Usually she just runs away and hides when there are new people but she actually let Nathan pet her.  And he finally learned that he cat says "meow"!  The last picture is him in a shopping cart at Home Depot.  Him and Papa had to go get some PVC pipe for some project they did together.  I'm not entirely sure what it was . . .
Top row:  Nathan and Papa are checking out the cool marble slide at the Farmer's Market toy shop.  They also played drums at Hometown Music.  Last picture-Nathan liked carrying around the walkie talkies he found.  He'd hold it up to his ear and say, "hello?"

Bottom row:  Riding a saddle at the Farmer's Market.  At one point he started singing and dancing while he was sitting on it.  The last one is just a cute picture of him in the car.  He was such a trooper!
Top row: Side walk chalk and bubbles.
Bottom row: Coloring, napping, and reading.
Top row:  Nathan and Meemaw had a dance party to Taylor Swift.  He also helped her pick the tomatoes in her garden.  Next time we'll have to teach him the difference between green and red first . . . The last picture has a funny story to go with it.  My dad set up the tent in the backyard just for fun.  He was sitting in it and wanted Nathan to come sit with him.  Nathan started walking over and looked like he was going to get in when my dad jokingly said something like, "only members are allowed in."  Nathan looked at him and said, "oh."  Then walked away.  And he wouldn't get in it after that.  Although, he is clearly standing in it in that picture.  I think I set him in there after he walked away.  He stayed in just long enough for that picture to be taken!

Left middle: Reading with Meemaw

Bottow row:  Another one of Nathan picking tomatoes.  Last one is Nathan playing with the blocks my dad made for him.  He really liked stacking them, and of course, knocking down anything anyone else made.
Meemaw took Nathan to a really fun kids park nearby.  She was so great and climbed up through the tunnels with him and helped him down the slides.
