Last Tuesday we packed up the kids and headed to sunny San Diego.  We were originally not going to leave until Wednesday but I was able to get my Tuesday shift covered at work so we could leave a day early and surprise my mom and dad.  They had flown in a few days before to visit my brother, his wife and their new baby.  We were all excited to meet baby Julia, to be able to attend her baby blessing, and have some good times in the sunshine!  Nathan LOVED little Julia.  He was so sweet with her and wanted to hold her and give her hugs and kisses.  He also loved seeing his Meemaw and Papa.  The picture of him on the top row with the toys and with the book are his early birthday presents that Meemaw and Papa brought to him.  Logan had his first bath in a sink at the hotel.  I kept trying to pull him out of that corner but he'd kick his legs against the wall of the sink to get back there.  He was all smiles for his Meemaw and Papa.  The very bottom right corner is a picture of Logan meeting his great grandpa, my mom's dad.  Logan's middle name, James, is my grandpa's name.

Julia had her special blessing day on Sunday.  Top left corner picture is Logan eating his tie.  I could not keep that out of his mouth.  The picture next to it is Nathan trying his hardest to be reverent during the blessing (I took the picture before the blessing ;)!  I'm so proud of my brother Andrew.  He's a great and loving dad.  I'm really glad that we were able to be there and be apart of their special day.
