The week of Thanksgiving Nathan started playing like he was going to the beach. He would gather up toys in his "beach bucket" and then bring into the living room to play at his beach. Since it was still so nice out I thought it would be fun to take him to the "beach" at Manila Creek Pond and let the kids play in the sand. We took a picnic and the sand toys. The kids had a blast! When we first got there we were chased by a hoard of ducks which kind of freaked Nathan out. But thankfully Jessica was with us and chased them away. And then Logan made it his personal mission to keep the ducks off the beach and away from Nathan. If they even dared step onto the beach (no matter how far down the beach they were . . .) he would take off after them and say, "I go get the ducks away for Nathan!" and "Go away ducks!! Get out of here!" It was one of the cutest, sweetest things I have ever seen!! Haha!
