Temple Square

Another place on our leaving Utah bucket list was Temple Square. I took the kids up one morning while Michael studied for his last final! It started off a bit rainy but turned into a beautiful day!

We walked over to the Conference Center to see if we could walk around on the roof for a few minutes. We were given a guide to take us up. Our guide was the head of security for the Conference Center. He was hesitant to take us out on the roof because there were a few dizzly rain drops. He said that he usually tells other's not to take people out when it's raining so everyone was watching him to see what he'd do! It kind of cracked me up because it really wasn't raining and I really mean there were just a few little drops. Luckily it all cleared up so we were able to see more of the roof!

Our guide asked if he could take pictures of us for us!! Umm . . . Yes please!! Haha!
(I hope this phase of Nathan sticking his tongue out for every picture ends soon . . .)

This fountain is directly over the pulpit. It is representative of the prophet's words flowing out to all four corners of the Earth.

Nathan really liked seeing the Earth
